Leander L. Kock

Leander was admitted as an attorney in 2010 and has her right of appearance in the High Court of South Africa. Leander acts as a legal consultant for various firms and businesses. She is a graduate of the University of Cape Town, where she obtained a BA degree, with majors in English and Psychology; a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, where she obtained a LLB degree (after having completed the first 2 years of her LLB degree at the University of Stellenbosch); and a graduate of Northwestern University, Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, Illinois where she obtained her LLM degree, with honours. Leander also has a Bachelor in Ministry degree and a Silver Laureate in Divinity Studies (equivalent to a Masters in Ministry). Leander has completed short courses in Public International Law and Air Space and Telecommunications Law, and also completed the Basic and Advanced Commercial Law Courses offered by the International Senior Lawyers Project, Commercial Drafting (hosted by the Irish Bar Rule of Law) in association with L.E.A.D.S.A and the Law Society of South Africa. Leander is continuously keeping up to date with her continuing legal education and development.
 
In addition to having successfully completed and thereby qualifying as a Commercial and Civil Mediator, Leander is also an Instructor at the Law Society of South Africa: Legal Education and Development, as well as an examiner and drafter for the Legal Practice Council of South Africa. Leander also served as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court. She is a Director of a company, which focuses on the empowerment of the youth, and a co-founder of a Ministry that has successfully been instructing students since 2014.
